How to Restore Deleted Text Messages on Android phone

Step 1: Launch the program and connect your Android to the computer

After downloading and installing the Android Data Recovery program on your computer, please launch it. Connect your Android phone to the computer via an USB cable.

Step 2: Enable USB debugging on your Android phone

Check if you have enabled USB debugging on your Android phone. If not, follow the below ways below; If you did, it will skip to step 3 directly.

• 1) For Android 2.3 or earlier: Enter “Settings” < Click “Applications” < Click “Development” < Check “USB debugging”
• 2) For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Enter “Settings” < Click “Developer options” < Check “USB debugging”
• 3) For Android 4.2 or newer: Enter “Settings” < Click “About Phone” < Tap “Build number” for several times until getting a note “You are under developer mode” < Back to “Settings” < Click “Developer options” < Check “USB debugging”

Step 3: Begin to scan your Android phone for the lost text messages

Once you setting the USB debugging successfully, the Android Data Recovery tool will detect your Android phone directly. Here, you just need to click the “Start” button in the middle of the home window to analyze your phone.
